Commonly used as a herbal approach when helping users to deal with anxiety and restlessness, Indian Elements Passion Flower is known for its mild psychoactive effects when consumed in higher doses. That’s why Passiflora flower can be sometimes used as one of the ingredients for a truly psychoactive experience. Some native North American tribes have been using this plant mixed this flower with other ingredients to produce a hallucinogenic drink named Prairehaysca, which is known to be a similar analog of most famous shamanic brew – Ayahuasca.
Passiflora
Use 1 or 2 teaspoons of Passion Flower herbs (1 to 4 grams) for a cup of tea. Pour boiling water over the herbs and leave it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
Passion Flower is known to contain MAO inhibitors, that’s why it is sometimes used to strengthen entheogenic states.
